Witton Albion have been awarded £250 after finishing third in the Evo-Stik Division One North Fair Play table for the 2015/16 season. The Divisional winners were Bamber Bridge with Northwich Victoria finishing as Runners-up.
The award is testament to the discipline which Carl Macauley and Gary Martindale have instilled in the players and everyone deserves full credit for that. Well done everyone.

Pre-Carl we played 18 games with 23 yellow cards and 1 red card.
Under Carl we played 39 games with 24 yellow cards and 2 red cards.

I kept a record for the first half of the season of bookings etc., for management information. 14 bookings were for foul tackles, and 19 bookings were for other reasons (i.e. wasting time, shirt pulling, simulation, dissent, etc.)

Good point but I wonder whether JR is irrelevant now.
After tomorrow his son and the mystery backers will still be conducting their business “activities” through JRFC although I am sure that the interested authorities will be keeping a close eye on them.
I think there is the recent outstanding winding-up order as well which is still on-going?
I just hope they pay the money up front for next season then I don’t particularly care what happens to them.
