Looks like extra time, 0-0 at present.
FT 0-0 in front of a half empty stadium, watching the game ‘live’ on http://www.fcum.tv/live/ not too impressed by what I have seen so far
We will be playing FC United next season after BPA beat them 1-0 with the winner on 118 minutes.
Congratulations to B.P.A.
Can’t say I’ll miss not gracing the “Horses Fall Over Running Track Stadium”
Should ensure a good crowd at H4H in 2012-2013

Calm down Neil its only one game I am sure when Frickley come you wont be as excited
This is a very important result for us today!!!
I am not privy to the true figures, but you would hope that an average home game attendance would cover roughly 2 weeks wages.
Lets say our admittance cost next season maybe put up to approx £10, and that our attendance against FCUM is 2000, of which 1800 are paying full entrance fee. Lets also say our weekly wage bill would be £1200
On my figures, that means income from this game alone would be £18000+. That would mean that this game alone would cover 15 weeks wages!!!
I know my figures are guess work, but it’s no wonder that Neil will be over the moon at todays’ result.
Personally I hope the admittance stays the same our attendances will go up next season with greater away support and hopefully more wittoners. Stafford have put there’s up to £10 and got slated on a non league forum with many other fans saying they would not go now because of this. I understand it’s a balancing act but we don’t want to be pricing out fans.
Being a retired accountant you should always go for an incremental rise each year to keep pace with things (inflation etc)because if you don’t then the year afters rise would inevitably have to be a big un! Anyway I thought that the red zone of Northwich had deeper pockets than the green zone!!! RIP green zone!!! SBL
You have to remember though we have a high entry fee for div one anyway so for me I think a fair increase would be to go to £9 adults, £5 concessions and £2 under 12s say, we should also be all inclusive and think about unemployed offer a concession on proof and 13-16 and students maybe concession, at this point we need to encourage more wittoners not drive them away with high prices in the long term we will win out by sticking to our principles of paying what we can and clearing our debts first- sorry i dont need to preach to neil im sure its all covered. ps waht about special; concession for anyone with nickname Eli on the board we need all the wittoners we can get
Agreed…APART from the “Eli” bit
Getting back on topic…Well done BPA.
“We’re all off to Bury”
:cheer:
£10 and £4.50 for concessions would be acceptable !
PS Hope TT paid for himself on his long weekend in London 20 years ago !
Well being as everybody else is weighing in here…
As the only senior club left playing within the town, i think it is our duty to keep access to local football as affordable as possible.
Although we haven’t increased prices for the last few seasons, it is worth noting that our prices were still higher than others at this level - in most cases £1.50 higher.
Again, i know the overheads associated with our stadium are higher than most at this level.
Going up a division next season, i would expect to see a slight increase. However, personally, i feel an increase of a full £1 would be too much too soon.
We have made excellent progress this season with bringing new supporters through the turnstiles, and the intelligent approach would be to continue down this road rather than going for the simple option of a larger increase in admission prices.
We can’t go into the league above acting like one of the big boys - we have to earn that right. It may be that we level off at 13th or 14th in the table next season (possibly lower), and the last thing we want is to see crowds drop back towards the 230/240 mark.
I think we need to pricing ourselves at the Matlock/Ashton sort of price range for this coming season.
I’d settle for an increase back to £9. Anything more would just seem greedy and shortsighted.
