Well deserved praise indeed though I am not sure “another Pritch in the making” ? In my opinion He is already a better all round footballer than Pritch,I can’t recall Pritch ever galloping upfield with the ball glued to his feet ! Great lad who always has time for people,respectful ,will make a great captain in a couple of years time if he hasnt been snapped up elsewhere ( truly hope the Board are taking care of the money side ). to be compared on the same loyal level as Pritch is indeed an honour though Ben arguably wins on that score too (he is after all son  
of a legendary green !).

My point was that a trialist had no chance agaisnt such quality opponents and gave them little chance to show how good they might be at our level, but our starting line up was showing how well it could cope albeit mostly defensively. I agree, Ben is FANTASTIC!!

My next door neighbour did come an he was impressed by our Goalkeeper and so was I, he was absolutely BRILLIANT on the night, three incredible saves.

Great attendance for a mid-week pre-season friendly imho - especially one arranged at short notice.

Compared the Blackpool team that won at Doncaster yesterday with the one that we faced and EIGHT of the starting line-up played against us with another FOUR who were substitutes.

Deffo reason to be optimistic methinks as we matched a Championship side for the first HOUR :clap
