I hope our management team used the Saturday off to do some scouting for potential recruits given that most of the team are loanees!! If we could get a centre half a. strong midfield player on top of the Hopley signing that would make so much diffrence. I don’t know what the situation is with Roberts but if he’s on the payroll he should be playing in order to try and unload him.Here’s hoping anyway as Clitheroe will not be easy they seem a reasonable side. Really quite down now at the lack of permanent signings and I do want Carl to succeed for us and for him. ---

Out of the current squad of 21 players, only 4 are loanees!! I can confirm that not only are our scouts out scouting, but the management team have also been doing regular scouting missions in recent weeks. ---

I can see both points of view and I am sure the mgt team are working hard to source the right players and if it was 4 loans out of 21 players that would be fine |! but We do seem to have 4 loan players out of the starting 11 which is different and a bit of a concern and I am sure a few fans share that concern so it would be nice to see the hard work converted into a couple of signings. UTA
