I think its been coming back since we beat Kidsgrove. Towards the end of that game you could see the confidence coming back. The vids on facebook give a sense of the growing unity on and off the pitch - so a huge well done to all the staff and players.
No doubt there will be more ups and downs along the way, but there’s now a sense of looking up the table and that tells its own story.
Can Sully please have a 40th birthday celebration every week from now on
Still two games to go before we reach the half way mark in the league fixtures.
I’ve a feeling the second half of the season is going to be much better than the first.
Oh and we’re on page 3 of this thread and all the postings have been about the game and not a word about who was or wasn’t there.
It suddenly doesn’t matter when we’ve won does it?
Really enjoyed last nights game, had a huge smile on my face walking into their bar at half time and hearing a couple of Buxton fans saying they should of stayed in and saved their money, after suffering defeat after defeat it feels great to be dishing out some great victories at last!
Great team performance all round, the keeper and defence looked solid and once Titch broke the deadlock with a fantastic shot beating the keeper at his near post the result wasnt in doubt!
Its great to see happy faces on and off the pitch and im delighted for Sully who was probably one or 2 defeats away from the sack yet hes turned it around and has the side playing good attacking football
Onwards to Saturday now and a Blyth side who may have their minds on an FA Cup game! Can we get 3 wins on the trot? Yes we can
