Chester FC vs Witton Albion (FAT1 Replay).

Witton travel to Chester on Tuesday evening following the draw at The NetDec Stadium on Saturday. Carl Macauley’s side put in a tremendous performance and came close to knocking their higher-ranked opponents out of the competition and can feel very unfortunate not to have done so. The replay gives Witton another opportunity to complete the job and although the job has become that bit tougher, there is no reason why they still can’t prevail. Chester know they were in a game on Saturday and Albion have shown so often already this season, that they are very capable of meeting any challenge that they might face. It will need more of that character, determination and spirit that has been so evident this season but who is to say that they can’t pull it off again. Another home tie awaits the winners in the Second Round against either high-flying National League Forest Green Rovers or National League South Truro City in January. Witton will be looking to progress further and continue their excellent season. Kick off at Lookers Vauxhall Stadium is 7.45pm. Should the game be drawn after 90 minutes, Extra Time will be played and then it will be decided on penalties if still level.

Come on boys you can finish the job tomorrow and look forward to another home tie… UTA

Really hoping we can do it tonight but I do think it will be more difficult on their ground plus they will have the lad Mahon back in midfield (he used to play for Carl at Vauxhalls). However these lads of ours would still be fantastic if they were playing Barcelona They have just been so brilliant this season and I’m so proud of the lot of them.
Quite interesting looking at the Chester FC forum one or two fans are banging on about signing Prince!! They can’t have him because Prince is definately a lad we’ve all taken too and emphasises what our team is all about effort, skill and will to win. To be fair to Chester Jon Mac their manager seems a decent bloke even though he did play for the green and white guys that now share our ground.
Anyways I’ll be there as I’m working today at a hospital not too far from Bumpers Lane. Onward and Upward UTA

Hanging on to Prince is not going to be easy, he is VERY GOOD!
