never have I been so gutted to lose a game we should of won but for a bad ref .never 10 yellow cards and 4 sending off in the game.never seen a bunch of lads so distraught it wasn’t a pen and nothing up with the goal Danny had the ball. matt was distraught kept saying what was that for .( all you can say honestly is I don’t now) to lose like that guts you. if you lose fair and square I will shake hands and say better side won but I cant take that last night. the lads were gutted to say the least but we have to pick them up and go again Saturday THANKS TO ALL THE SUPPORTS LAST NIGHT BRILLIANT
feel a bit deflated today, but sh*t happens. When the draw was made to play Chester we all thought great a chance to play against a big team and see how we compare, and maybe give them a bit of a game. Wow were we wrong , only one reason we will not be playing FGR in jan. and that is that K**b with the whistle. nowt we can do about it now though, but dust ourselfs off and go -again saturday.
This team deserves some reward for their efforts and starting saturday we begin our march to promotion together, UTA , the players will feel gutted , but no regrets guys you and the management have done the name of Witton Albion Proud bowdown bowdown bowdown
If we feel like this I have no idea how the lads and management feel
Been talking to a pal at work and he reckons that ref is renown for his arrogance. it’s about time referees that poor are held accountable
No food for the players? Why not? That’s atrocious!
Joesph Johnson- hang your head in shame, you completely spoiled what promised to be a decent game of football with incomprehensible decisions, unwarranted booking and idiotic red cards. As to the farce of the game left - immensely proud of the Witton lads for a superb show and outplaying Chester over 180 minutes , as to Chester that they had to resort to kicking/stamping and cheating to get a result perhaps tells you everything. Lets hope we can now get our squad fit and climb up the table where we belong because I have no doubts We are privileged to be watching a pretty special Witton Albion side. UTA
Wierd game last night, surprised Chester made changes from Saturday and also their attendance was very low…thought they would have had a few more fans and created a better atmosphere? Their manager comes across very well and is a credit to the club. As for the game well what can you say… like a pantomime with that ref, totally spoiled it. Tol spoiled it for us really but he has been great for us so won’t hold it against him as long as it’s a one off and he learns from it (if we have him back again) great away support loud and proud. The players were outstanding and very nearly did it for us. Well done lads and management you are a joy to watch… UTA
Sorry but it was a pen, he did shove him

If you look keepee had the ball before contact.and nothing wrong with disallowed goal UTA

still can’t believe we we got this tw&t of a ref for this game !
Anyway all done now, heads up and saturday beckons !!
Look forwards not back and and lets win this league !!!
In fact from my view it was a close call and in the end the push was not necessary but the fact is he did push him before our keeper got the ball so it was a pen, in fact the only thing the ref got right on the night were the penalty decisions, sad he missed one too! More importantly, how is Rob?

No disrespect but I think you need a trip to specsavers. The other week you could see from one end of the pitch to the other in that fog and mow you say it was a penalty. No way was it a penalty. Roberts got the ball and he sent Matt Device off for nothing! Why did he not book Hudson?
Hudson was booked for the incident which led to our early penalty, then sent off for a second booking midway through the second half.
Must of missed that
Does anyone know where I can find the photos from the 2 Chester games? There were photographers at both matches
There was somebody videoing the game at Chester.

I was sat right on the half way line and although in hindsight the defender did not need to push the attacker as the keeper would have got the ball the fact is he did. Apart from our penalty that was about the only thing he did get right all night. As for the fog comment the rule is if you can see both goal posts from the centre spot the game should proceed, ask any ref. Anyway, both in the past, see you on Saturday. (If I can find my specs!!)
