FT. FA Cup - Stalybridge Celtic 1-3 Chorley.

Our scheduled Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture at home to Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday evening is now confirmed.

Was always a difficult ask away at Coalville. We are definitely in need of cover for Matty Devine at left back. As good as he is I’m afraid he is very susceptible to injury. Back at it Tuesday with a very winnable game at home to Stalybridge. UTA

I am sure we will get back to winning ways on Tuesday.
WHS.

Someone made a good suggestion the other day, bring back Danny McKenna and play him in tandem with Matty and you have pace and quality on the left side and we have cover then at left back ? big ask to win at Coalville without Prince and Matty and they are bang in form so no issue still in 4th, hopefully back to winning ways on Tuesday. UTA

The one problem with that now is that Danny McKenna is no longer a Witton player. He was on dual registration last season with ourselves and Runcorn Linnets but I believe that is no longer the case.

I think we can sign players from the NWCFL Level if we want them ? just the same as conference National can take from us! thats football.

Matthew Coughlan is supposed to be a left back Colin. He was on the bench yesterday but Carl opted to bring on Micah Evans and presumably put Williams at left back.

Jay Foley went left back I believe, but in terms of options McKenna has a bit more pace and quality from what I have seen. UTA
