Our Evo-Stik Division One South fixture scheduled for
TUESDAY, 8TH NOVEMBER - Leek Town HOME is now postponed and will be rescheduled.
We will play our Cheshire Senior Cup Preliminary Round fixture at Sandbach United on either TUESDAY, 8TH or WEDNESDAY, 9TH NOVEMBER. Awaiting confirmation of the details.
With all these league games cancelled hope it doesn’t affect us going for the league .teams are already 2/3 games in front and play league games nxt 2 Tuesday.which will put us 4/5 games behind .better points in the bag than games in hand Uta
Extra games, particularly in the FA Trophy brings in a significant amount of money and tgat allows our Manager to keep a good squad together.

I dont think anyone doubts the value of the FA trophy but we are chasing the league title and or possible promotion so the Cheshire and Mid Cheshire and Integro cup are not so important this season and if we rest players then I am happy enough to do so. UTA
I didn’t say the fa cup or trophy .just at this rate we will end up with 3 or 4 games a week .seen orher team lose out on promotion due to a back log of games.
Stupid meaningless Cup takes preference over league games is the most ridiculous rule ever!

Whs not saying fa trophy not important. Just saying will we play sandbach and glossop the teams around us are playing league games. We are 3 games behind the leaders and play them on a Tuesday( 2hr trip)dont want to end up 5/6 games behind

Ask the players if they want to win one of the Cups. Of course we don’t want a big backlog of fixtures but we are only talking about being three games adrift, other teams will be playing in cup ties too and regardless of the prize money the extra cash taken at the gate is always welcome. A win in either game might set up a tie against one of the other lot or a team with a decent following. Winning the league is our main priority but you need the cash coming in to maintain that aim.
