To be honest, today’s result makes absolutely no difference to us. Nobody really expected Stamford to get anything out of the game so regardless of when the cods scored the winner is irrelevant. We know what we’ve got to do to win this league, simple as that. If the cods drop points then great, but at the moment they’re scraping results so we just need to concentrate on ourselves
youre right and i am sure cods WILL drop more points anyway, stamford came closer than buxton in the week. It will be a team that we dont expect that take points off them, i can only see us winning this league. I wouldnt fancy going all the way to lincoln on a tuesday evening, followed by buxton and stamford who will have fleetwood fresh in their minds for payback from this week. We have shown we are the better so far over the season, Fleetwood cant play football like we can, and getting a player like junior brown in whos fresh and hungry is only going to help us onto victory in our last few games. They may say we have to win every game but so do they. Theyve won last two and have 5 more and come on its very hard to go on a 7 game winning run whoever you play. Any fans worried we may let the title slip dont be, to be honest (and no disrespect to fleetwood) I think it will be over before the worksop game;)
