Awesome result, they were never going to win all their games in hand and hopefully this will have added more pressure and unsettled them. They HAVE to win their games in hand which is an added burden. Our focus is quite simple, take one game at a time and approach every won with the belief and attitude to win it.
Fantastic result, Gateshead however could still have a big say in this championship, both us and Fleetwood have to go up to the North East and we still have them at home too.

According to the Fleetwood forum, Gateshead came at them from the first minute and were the best side they have faced this season. This certainly puts Gateshead back in amongst it (as Rabbit says, we still have to play them twice yet!). I still wonder if maybe we should of gone at Fleetwood more when we went up there - especially during the period they had no goalkeeper. At the time we were flying (scoring 5 and 6 goals was the norm!!), and i felt we had goals in us if we attacked.
It does put us back in the driving seat now though - we just need to make sure we take full advantage. Beating Gateshead at WP in a few weeks would be a MASSIVE result now.
Don’t think we should dwell on the points that we might have got this season Robbo! You’ll drive yourself mad if you keep thinking about it! It’s in our hands and like Rabbit says, we just need to take each game as it comes now. We would have settled for a point before the Fleetwood game so lets be happy with it!
Very true, but i still found myself sat in the car this morning thinking about the Lincoln game!!
