I rarely comment on games these days but out of Saturday and last night bit disappointed not to have taken atleast a point from one of them!
The loss of Booth and Newman inside 10minutes didnt help - just after we went 1-0 down but we did come back into it and to let in 3 inside less than 10 minutes it seemed will always put you on the wrong end of the result.
Final comment-not sure where the gate came from - I presume it included the players - would surely have been below 40 without the witton contingent which was impressive for a Tuesday in Leeds!
Has anyone heard how Liam Newman is? He was taken to hospital. I hope it was precautionary. The tackle on Liam was dubious at least. It wasn’t two footed but wholly unnecessary. Give me a bit of petulance any day rather than tackles that put people in hospital. I thought that Garforth were a fairly decent side on the night but if we are serious about getting out of this league these sort of defeats should not be allowed to happen. We were 2 1 up and blew it. There’s a long time to go and no need to panic but ? SBL
Oh well, not the result i expected here but losing 2 key players and moving clampett probably unsettled us greatly, We will be testing our small squad very soon with injuries and suspensions was olly james dismissal a straight red ? any updates on the injury front from anyone, heracy i know but i would not mind going out of the trophy and getting focussed on the league front, if we can do both then brilliant. not done much smiling recently

According to that we only put 4 past Ossett and Booth went to hospital. Not much comment on the potential leg breaker either. Talk about a one eyed match report.
Only comment to that is that the small hardcore of Witton supporters were 30-40 in number and i would suggest that Garforth would be lucky if they had 30 paying supporters there that night.
Thought a draw would have been a fair result but not to be.
