No worries Al- you livened up the forum with it !
My last word on it Rafa Benitez style facts :
Back page of this weeks Guardian 2 Major headlines on 2012 Winsford, 473 words on one article and 250 in the other and a small article on Vs and Witton ZERO
Inside back page 2 headlines on 2012 Winsford 450 words on one article 189 on the other - Witton ZERO
Inside page opposite 2 headlines of 169 words on Witton game and 400 on Witton players Tames Articles on Witton forthcoming HUGE games is 10 poorly written words tagged on to the end of the Tames article.
Ignoring Vs as most people do : approx 1370 words on 2012 Winsford on 4 major headlines, .569 words on the smaller headlines for Witton and most importantly disgraceful reporting NOT promoting Wittons next 2 games
So bearing in Mind Witton Albion are in the senior league challenging for the title is this moaning or legitimate concern about the fairness of our local paper. Lets hope this can be resolved
Gentlemen.
For the attention of Mr Lowe and Mr Jump.
I was talking to Andy Simpson about this at 1874s game this afternoon and he is aware of your postings and he knows who you are so please feel free to speak to him personally about your complaints at Tuesday nights game.
If he is aware of the postings then good, I do not really need to speak to him, He knows my views and the facts laid down so I am happy for the club to take it from here and hopefully we see a bit of fairness going forward that is all the Witton Albion fans want to see.
I would have thought that common courtesy would have dictated that you spoke to him first about your opinion and your perception of his alleged bias before being critical of his profession, ethics, and personal qualities as a sports reporter on a public website.
Not really welcome to the modern world of social media, He has the power of media and right of reply, if he can satisfy me with a response I will gladly apologise until then the facts as I read them speak for themselves hope He enjoyed his away day at ACFC. UTA
You’re not Donald Trump in disguise are you?
Due to the administration don’t you have to put a CVA to the creditors and have it agreed before the court can allow you to go on and if you have “enough money to complete the season” isn’t this an asset which may be included…?

CVA is in hand our club is in talks with the Administrator and were close to an agreement as we are were righting off our £30,000 we lent to Vic’s and buying the club so no need fir a CVA. The meeting next week is our takeover of Vic’s funding from a businessman wanting to invest and possible ground move to another club so we will be playing in NPL N next season so don’t worry about us we are not going anywhere unlike what the plastic Vic’s think
The Topic is The Guardian.
Don’t know Mr Simpson but I am sure he is a decent guy. To be fair he is only appealing to a very few people in Mid Cheshire with football, all 4 teams can barely scratch 750 species between them. Back in the day before the digital age back page of the Guardian was Witton down one side and the Slime down the other with all the news and titbits in between. They reported on Utd ,City,Liverpool and Everton as well. I think more people look at the obituary page than the sport nowadays.
Can just imagine the back page headlines next week - Witton drop vital points in promotion push !
I always check the obituaries, just in case I am in it!!
