Our sincere thanks to all the Wittoners who used to come and chat to our dad/grandad when we brought him to matches, and continued to ask after him after he was no longer able to attend. Witton was one of the subjects that could pierce the cloud of Dementia and bring him back to the here and now, so your good wishes were passed on and were appreciated.
Sadly Harold left us on the morning of New Years day.
Thank you Witton family, and, as Harold would have said- “NOW THE ALBS!!”
Really sad news again Harold was a Great man he gave me personally a lot of help when he was chairman of the Witton juniors and I was running teams and on the committee - I think the current thriving Juniors is one of his legacies and I know He was involved in much more.
Any news on the funeral details ?
Hi, for anyone that would like to attend, Harold’s funeral is on Tuesday 13th Jan, 11:00 am at Witton church, then back to wittons club from around 12:30- 13:00.
