Match pointers
WITTON take on title chasers Hednesford in their worst run of form so far this season.
Nigel Deeley’s men slumped to a third successive defeat in league and cup on Tuesday – they have conceded 11 goals in that time too.
They head to Staffordshire without the experience of both Thornley brothers, although Brian Pritchard is back to plug the holes at the back.
Their recent record at Keys Park is reason to be cheerful – a 2-2 draw last term preceded by a single goal victory the season before that.
But the Pitmen have found their best form in front of their own fans so far, winning five of their six home matches.
A surprise 2-0 reverse at home to North Ferriby last weekend blotted the copybook and is reason for Albion to be hopeful.
