Hednesford Town v Witton Albion, Saturday 11th Oct

I haven’t seen either of the last two matches (probably a good thing), but I will be at Hednesford on Saturday. Lets get plenty of fans down there singing our hearts out for Witton, to show the lads just how passionate we are for the club, and just how passionate they need to be as well.
Don’t know what the team is likely to be, but if it were up to me it would be this:
(4-1-3-2)

                        Smith G
  Schwarz Scott Pritchard Donnelly
                       Thornley B
      Thacker Drew Skelton
               Thompson Gouldbourne

Let’s have everyone SUPPORTING the team and management on Saturday, as well as having a go on the predictions to raise some more money for Nigel to spend.

See you Saturday.

Up The Albion!!!

Good post young Thomas. Anybody want a lift to Hednesford ?

Match pointers
WITTON take on title chasers Hednesford in their worst run of form so far this season.

Nigel Deeley’s men slumped to a third successive defeat in league and cup on Tuesday – they have conceded 11 goals in that time too.

They head to Staffordshire without the experience of both Thornley brothers, although Brian Pritchard is back to plug the holes at the back.

Their recent record at Keys Park is reason to be cheerful – a 2-2 draw last term preceded by a single goal victory the season before that.

But the Pitmen have found their best form in front of their own fans so far, winning five of their six home matches.

A surprise 2-0 reverse at home to North Ferriby last weekend blotted the copybook and is reason for Albion to be hopeful.

£9.50?!? Think i’d rather go in the stand!!!

Thomas, looks like your Team is wrong anyway as no Ben!!

Hopefully this will mean that Steve Smith gets another chance to impress…

:stuck_out_tongue: do i detect a hint of sarcasm there Robbo?!? :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re right there Robbo. I forgot he was suspended.
No idea what the midfield will be, but I stick with the defence and attack I chose.

Never.

And i do hope that young number 4 is playing again, he certainly made an impression on Tuesday night. 14 minutes was the Golden Goal time, i wonder if he collected his prize?

Wont be going myself but will stick my neck out and go for starting 11 of

4 - 5 - 1

           G Smith

Scott, Pritchard, Burke, Donnelly
Thacker, Skelton, Willis, Drew, McGaw
Thompson.

Subs Millington, Warwick, Dunne, Settle, Gouldbourne,Schwarz.
