Losing is now becoming a habit. Very worrying.

It appears losing Nick Ryan to injury was a pivotal moment.

Two home games to come, see you on Tuesday night.

Maybe rather than losing shape could have put Gards at 3RD centre back and Prince to wing back might have worked anyway not a disaster ! but now a chance to work back to winning ways on Tuesday at home and Devine is coming back as well UTA

According to the match report, we played 5-3-2 and Hednesford had five in midfield then we had to change it when we lost Ryan.

In my experience, it is rarely the formation a team takes that causes the problem but the players in that formation. We are obviously a little shy on talent at this level, good enough to survive but not good enough to challenge. Maybe that will change when everyone is fit.

I dont agree one bit, if you have 2 attacking fullbacks and no wingers to speak of then having the benefit of another good centre back in Wilson makes us a much better team than playing Foley and Hedley on the wings in a 4-4-2, so a shape to suit the players you have is always an option that can work when you have a thin squad devoid of balance.
Derek I know we started 5-3-2, but when Ryan went off we went 4-4-2, I was trying to show we didnt really need to do that by putting Gards at centre back an Prince at right wing back., especially as in the Graudian report it said Carl didnt really want to change the shape ?

I agree. How ironic as you said earlier though that once we had to change then they scored. Typical isn’t it.
