Over 1800 tickets have/in the process of being distributed to local organisations. (thats a lot of folding, cutting and laminating I can tell you!)
This Saturday sees the first time of teams being invited down for a pre match tour of the ground etc. Take up appears to be good and we’re expecting around 25-30 kids from Davenham Dynamos U9’s and Winsford Overs U13’s along with some parents to be in attendance.
There maybe a few more to come as well because this afternoon I have been down at Northwich Library along with Adam Warlow, Rob Lloyd and John Dillon where they were holding a childrens Football Reading Game with author Tom Palmer. The Library had kindly invited us down as representatives of local football and after the players had posed for pictures with the children we were able to offer them all free season tickets!
With the free season tickets, the coaching sessions, and now reading schemes at the Library, the club are really heading in the right direction with regards to raising the profile with local children. This will hopefully not only be beneficial now, but also in the future
