Somebody put me out of my misery!
GET IN! Great stuff Albion!
Yeeeesssssss! Get in! Onwards and upwards. Come on the Albion!
Well done boys! Now let’s build on it.
Oh Yes, thanks to all concerned for the updates on here. Much appreciated
Come on the Albiooooooon! Well done for a great result!
Good result, the start of the twenty games without defeat I forecast?
WHS
A good result even though they are near the bottom, I think lincoln are better than that, lets hope this kick starts the confidence and we start climbing the league, I see leek kept there good run going, but im not sure they are that good either, im still convinced with a bit more luck, all the players fit and a couple of signings we will be challenging at least for the playoffs
Lincoln played better than Leek did, which goes to show the fine line between 3 points or none!
We rode our luck at times and had Lincoln have had a striker that could kick straight then the outcome may have been different. By the same token everyone in the ground bar the referee thought that Pritch’s header early in the second half had crossed the line!
The points are the most important outcome and how many times have we played pretty free-flowing football only to come away with nothing. The effort levels were much better yesterday and Brodie’s early goal was worthy of winning a match.
Great day out for the traveling Wittoners who outnumbered the home crowd!

The gate was 86, to which I did a rough count of 50 to 60 Wittonners!
Well done Witton and well done the Wittoners for the support.
Thanks to all those who supported the club yesterday, after 4 straight defeats it was definitely a big ask to expect people to make a 5-6 hour round trip. The fact that 50 or so did is remarkable.
When you consider that Leek had 18 people behind the goal at WP for a local Bank Holiday fixture and maybe another dozen at the side when they are at the top of the table it shows what a great bunch of SUPPORTERS we have.
It was nice to get the rub of the green and ‘win ugly’ for a change at Lincoln.
Onwards and Upwards
What a day!
The crowd was given as 86, so do Lincoln only have 36 home supporters?
Sorry having just looked back…did they only have 26 home supporters??(50-60 Loyal Wittoners!) What sort of a league is this?? Again a great result well done the Albs (team, fans and all!!)
Yes MM, the majority of the 86 were Wittoners!
They could not have had more than 40 fans! Amazingly there are five clubs in this league averaging less fans than Lincoln! We’re the third best supported club in the league right now, Chasetown and Sheffield both get reasonable gates in first and second place (in attendances that is)!
Well done everyone, I wish I’d been there.
