MR ALTRINCHAM

I tuned in to MUTV last night to watch the reserves against Stockport County in a cup match.Prior to kick-off Graham Heathcote was out on the Moss Lane pitch watering it.Great servant to the club, very similar to people we also have.Nice to see true football men doing what they love.

I use to subscribe to Setanta and Graham was always a popular figure on the channel.Chad will correct me if i am wrong but i think Graham could well have hung up his boots for the last time at the Central Ground whilst playing for Witton in 85/86 season.

Playing for County last night was Paul Simpsons son.A very neat and tidy midfield player.

Great post. Indeed a legend.

However, can’t understand the need to water the pitch during that storm last night?

I see Alty and Graham have parted company today after 8 years in charge

Is he going to revert to his maiden name now then?

Nice to see him at our match yesterday.
