We have tonight signed a new player, he has been with us before and I now one or two people will be very pleased he’s back, lets hope he can ‘Dozzle’ us all again with his goal scoring :laugh:

His Unibond Registration was faxed to the league tonight, and I have just had confirmation of its receipt. However, he was a contract player at Halifax, so we are reliant on them to contact the FA, to confirm his contract has been cancelled.
Everything should go through O.K., but we are reliant on other people to perform their actions.
I would prefer to wait until we have confirmation from the FA that everything is in order.
I will inform you all as soon as that is the case.

Delighted to see ‘The Dozzler’ return, after a good pre-season last year he was very unlucky not to have been given a place in the squad. My understanding is that JV was not prepared to offer him a deal and that at the time the lad’s Mrs had just had their child, therefore meaning he needed the security of regular earnings. He will no doubt need a run in the side but I think he can certainly contribute to the squad if he finds the right sort of form.
The shrine to ‘The Dozzler’ has never been taken down in The Albion Arms!
