NEW SIGNINGS

Witton Albion Football Club can today announce five new additions to the playing staff, one of which is a familiar face to us all.

Alex Salmon - A striker who has been playing in the Evo-Stik Premier Division for Workington. Alex played for the Development Squad on Wednesday evening at Barnton against Bradford RIASA, scoring a hat trick in a 5-2 win. Alex, is also the son of our Development Squad Manager & Director of Football Development - John Salmon.

Theo Chrisokhou - Central defender who was at Wincham Park last season has rejoined the club. Theo has been featuring with the Development Squad and recently spent a week on trial with Scottish Premier Division Aberdeen.

Dominic Garner - Goalkeeper who has played in recent weeks for the Development Squad.

Ryan Connor - Left back signed having played previously with Kidsgrove Athletic.

ANTHONY SHEEHAN - No introduction needed has returned to the club.

Welcome to all and a special welcome back to Sheens.

I imagine Alex has got a bit more time to play now he’s no longer leading the SNP.

Well done to all, needed to act fast with the impending departure of the Norton Taxi. Hopefully Sheens is fit enough to add a bit of steel and bite to the midfield and finally a left back is drafted in. All we need now is for BP and MM to take up the reigns. UTA

has our keeper left?

Haven’t had any confirmation on any departures as yet.

Apparently He and Baker trained last night and Chadwick was down being treated for an injury I dont know whether that means anything or just that they are contracted players.

From what I understand, there was a meeting before training last night.

Do we know who has left the club yet?

Nothing confirmed as yet.
