Paul Simpson with Alan Wright as his assistant. They cant come cheap!
“Away” at Macclesfield on Saturday, then where?
WHS.
Rushe Appoints a manager without a ground, appoints a manager without non league experience,Appoints a Manager who has been sacked from his last 4 jobs at least and I guess they must be on big money for non league and Vs have little or no income stream ! absolute madness Rushe must be absolutely bonkers- I hope he stays at VS A long long time - or at least until they go completely bust
SURELY THE V**S FANS WILL HAVE TO UNITE AND DRIVE HIM OUT AND START AGAIN
Got to give him credit he is a trier!!! When they go they will go with a big “BANG”!! What is the betting they pack it in if they lose on Saturday?
WHS.
On a two day rolling contract…
you, have to give rushe credit,he wont change his ideology. whats next, put in a bid for tevez?
Worth a shot. It can’t be any less realistic than offering Andy Carroll for him!
I think this stinks. He’s paying these megabucks probably yet with everything else going on around him you’d think he’d have put in someone wanting less money Steve Walters would have been ok, then he goes and does this. The point is he’ll get out of all this by pleading to Sports England and CWAC council about the land being for recreational use so that Thor won’t be able to do anything. With Jim its take take take with no thought at all that it affects the community, the genuine Vics fans and the Trust over there who are trying to fight for Vics survival. The last thing you’d do is appoint someone like this you’d actually be looking to reduce wage bills and finance your assetts. Not him though because he knows he’ll get out of this. More slippery than an eel our Jim!!
Contrast this with us. Lying 3rd in the league living within our means and having a manager who takes nothing and is respected by al of us and by other clubs as well. Who would you rather support?
Thank god I was brought up with a Red and White striped shirt!!
Onward and Upward!! Thank god for our board and our management team what a fantastic job they are doing rising above all this rubbish from across the canal!! Feel sorry for the lads running the Vics Trust they are on a hiding to nothing with the"EEL"!!
Re Sport England, they will be consulted during the planning process, and may well recommend that the land is retained for recreation.
But even if they are successful, Vics still dont have any right to play there as far as I can see. The land isn’t really used by the wider community (subject to the odd junior tournament) so the main use remains Vics. And Thor’s legal team will presumably have boxes full of correspondence that shows they have made sod all effort to put together a proper proposal to buy the land!
Vics’ argument is essentially “keep it as it is so we can continue to play there for 40p in the pound”.
It is all very well laughing at what is going on over the “cut” but our club needs money too so please donate any way you can, “predictions” “raffles” whatever. You can also get the thermometer on the move or just post a few quid through the door at the ground. A night out nowadays, even without the wife costs anything up to £20, how about forgoing one and donating it to the club? It might be the difference between promotion or staying in this league, come on lads and lasses, “Onwards and Upwards”!!

Living it large WHS?
Only joking, totally agree with the sentiment

The land just needs to be re-classified, which is surely a council decision anyway. How can they not agree to it when Thor have guaranteed they will be creating new jobs in the town.
All Thor have to do is offer to buy a bit of land somewhere else and stick a playing field on it.
So will you be there on Thursday?
Where?

Bitch.
At first I was devastated that Vics had won in the FA Trophy, then I saw the gate, just over 200, where on earth do they go from there if less than 300 turn up for such an important game?Had they been remotely pleasent to us they would have been playing at our ground and the gate would have been well over 1,000, instead they are like “Little Orphan Annie” with nowhere to live. Let us hope they don’t find a “Daddy Warbucks” to bail them out again.
