We’ve got one of the best strikers in the league in Duckworth, have been crying out for chances to be taken. He is apparently now back to full fitness after a niggle and missing pre season so plays today and scores 2 goals ( the third one was his after Lawrie’s shot deflected off him) and then we defend like that for 45 minutes. He is now on 8 goals and again our top goalscorer having hardly played
Hoyle did well, but doesn’t look like he has a knack of goals and Garbutt hasn’t performed since we handed him a contract
Ben needs to unfortunately cut ties with 4/5 of these lads before the club does with him. Did anyone know what was up with our goalkeeper? The lad who played today was okay, not at fault for any goals.
I’ve heard that Cameron Terry has a problem with discs in his back but that hasn’t been confirmed.
It was confirmed Terry has slipped a disc in his back will be out for a while! New keeper coming in shortly.

Missing Jones and Edwards doesn’t help, they are 2 of our best players but every week we change players and shape it’s like champ mgr!
We need to pick a shape we want and trust to play then pick out best 11 and stick with it, then weed out players that don’t suit, are not good enough, not fit enough then recruit players to suit our style and who have some grit about them!
I saw yesterday a player that ducked 50/50s that’s not needed in a team that wants to win. Ben has to show he is ruthless enough to sort this mess out. PDQ
