The passion and commitment that came across from Nige at the info meeting makes it all the harder to see him go … as he too wants the best for our club… a true wittoner… i wish him all the best.

Echo Chelle fully.
I DO HOPE that certain players who looked like they couldn’t even pass water let alone a ball of late search their consciences long and hard.
Thanks Nige for all your efforts, unfortunately it had to be done, please come down for a Witton game or two Im sure you will get a great reception from the true Wittoners.,
Absolutely gutted! I think we should’ve tried to retain him even if it was only on a coaching level. I do hope Nige still remains close to the club.
Lets hope the new management team is better without disrespecting Nige!
What can you say, a sad day. Nige is up there with Pritch as people you would ant to enjoy success at the club in whatever capacity.
I have a lot of sympathy - he took on a tough job when everyone wlaked out in the summer, and although expectations werent as high they as a little higher than where we currently sit.
That said there is no way those players should be in that postion including the experienced lads he has brought in and then had to let go. The majority of them have let the manager down with too many sub standard performances.
all the best Nige and hope to still see you at Wincham Park in the future.
It’s gone 9 where is the announcement???
Come on !
An announcement about the new management team will be made tomorrow morning (3rd).
still over 2hours of this morning left.
Good luck Nige.

He must stay in some capacity, surely we can offer him a role still within the club…Director of Football !!!
His coaching skills would be invaluable to us going forward, it would be a shame to loose him altogether.[/quote]
I agree with that sentiment 100%. I just don’t see how it could ever happen though.
I intend to try and get Nige involved in Supporters Team games from time to time, so at least he’ll still be able to wear the red and white!!
All the best Nige, a true Wittoner.
