Busy times at the home of the official club website at www.wittonalbion.com, we’re adding features to our website quicker than ‘V***’ can sign goalkeepers!
Recent Updates:
Player profiles are no uploaded to the site with player pictures coming soon (the photocall is Thursday night this week)! You will find an updated profile for each player by going to the 'Team menu, click on ‘Squad’ and a menu you will appear with all the individual player names. Thanks to Phil Chadwick for the hard work in preparing these.
A Match Preview will appear on the website before each game, go to the ‘Latest News’ page and it is listed there. These previews are superbly prepared by Derek Buckley each week in advance of the game and give an insight into the match ahead. Check out the preview of tomorrow’s game against Rushall Olympic on the website now!
Our Facebook site is gathering pace. We now have 149 friends connected through Facebook and if you have not already registered it is worth doing! There are 249 photos linked in by fans and we have 12 Photo Albums of our own. Incredibly we have photos from every single pre-season game and the first league game against Spalding (how’s that for service)! Thanks to resident snapper Mark Lyon for this fantastic contribution! PS. Keep inviting your friends to our Facebook group (there are some Facebook promotions being planned)!
The current Poll on our home page wants to know ‘Who was man of the match against Spalding?’. If you went to the game on Saturday then be sure to post your vote for MOM.
One other thing, if you have not already subscribed to our Twitter feed then take a look at this via the link on our home page. We will be using Twitter throughout this season during games to update the live score updates. This means that updates will be posted live to our home page during games and if you are away from a computer you can get score updates through your mobile!
There is ongoing work on the site to keep making improvements as we go, but generally we are up and running as planned. Your feedback on what you would like to see and other changes is always welcome.
Yesterday was the websites busiest day so far with 360 visits, we’ve had more than 3,700 visits so far in August!
