Ogden adds to his squad

Albion manager Paul Ogden has added to his squad of forwards with the capture of the experienced Colin Little from New Mills and 21-year-old Anton Bryan, a former Manchester United youth player. Of his new captures, Ogden said: "I’m delighted that Colin has finally put pen to paper, and I say finally, as he is a player I’ve been trying to sign since it was first hinted that he was to leave Altrincham in pre-season.

“His goalscoring record is unquestionable, and if we get anything like his previous goal tally, then I’ll be delighted, as I’m sure our supporters will be. However, his work will at some stage interfere with his appearances for the Club, but that is something we are both aware of and we naturally accept that that is where his priority lies.”

During his time (2004-2010) with Altrincham FC, Little appeared in 187 games, hitting the back of the net on 67 occasions, and although he only managed to feature in three games for FC United of Manchester in the Evo-Stik Premier Division this season, he scored twice.

While Little is the senior of the two signings, 21-year-old Bryan comes on the back of seven years experience at Manchester United.

“Anton gives me a couple of options” said Ogden, "as he can play wide or through the middle. He’s got plenty of pace and while he’s not seen much action in recent months, I’m sure he’ll be raring to go.

“Understandably, he wants to get back into pro football and has already had trials with a League One side, but signing for us will give him the chance to get some games under his belt and give him the exposure he needs to achieve his ambitions, and we’ll do what we can to help him.”

Bryan goes into the squad to play at Chester (27 October) in the Evo-Stik President’s Cup First Round, while Little is in line to appear in the FA Trophy at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday (30 October).

Finally!!!

This signing excites me!!

Stuarts’ brother? I smell a trap here!

That is cheesey,TT.

Two excellent signings.

We know exactly what we are going to get with Colin.Anton has spent seven years learning to play football the United way.Enough said.

So Anton has learnt the utd way - so he will dive and cheat, harangue refreees, threaten to go strike or leave and demand another £70k a week of our beleaguered chairman ? sounds good.

Seriously both sound good signings colin little is very experienced and prolific
