From the non-league daily website! Ogden and Pope seem to pulling out all the stop down at Colwyn Bay. I think he would of been ok for us to!
Steve Pope, the new manager of UniBond League Division One North club Colwyn Bay, has recruited the services of four more players, including two goalkeepers.
Twenty-seven-year-old Stuart McIntosh, brother of forward and recent signing James, is a former Airbus UK Broughton keeper, while 21-year-old Damian Stevens was formerly with Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford United.
Richard Smart (pictured above) has also been brought in.
Bay have also beaten off competition from UniBond Premier sides Witton Albion and Eastwood Town for the signature of 28-year-old forward Phil Hadland from Kidsgrove Athletic.
Hadland (right)has made league appearances for Rochdale, Carlisle, Darlington and Colchester along with spells at Northwich Victoria and Stalybridge Celtic.
Pope commented: “Phil is an exciting player with bags of pace, an eye for goal and will be a good addition to the squad.”
Last season`s top scorer Neil Black has, however, left Bay to sign for newly-promoted Premier Division side Cammell Laird.
