The evo stik site is advertising the sale of a Wincham based football stadium and its contents on their site( at one point this morning it was the main story with Vics oldco manager directly underneath it picking up his manager of the month award), a sad day for football in the shire!
Question now is who will buy the items? I wonder if Oldco will rustle up some funds to go and get some of their former rented items to make it more homely at the static Flixton. Equally, will Hokey Cokey newco 1874 go back and have a look and see if there is anything they can store on the salt plains of winsford that could be taken to their new stadium in 3 years.
Of course all funds raised go to the council for local community sport projects so i am assuming that all sports clubs in the area will be able to stake a claim? Anybody ordering a sales brochure?
wouldn’t mind the floodlights and the Main Stand being attached to Wincham Park :unsure:
