After the success of the European Championships on Saturday, we are considering running a larger-scale tournament.
Depending on how many people are interested in doing it, we will look at splitting the entrants into 4 groups, with the top 2 teams progressing to the knockout stages.
We would expect to play Group A on week 1, Group B on week 2, etc etc, and the knockout stages on week 5.
Possibly do this on Tuesday nights down at Witton. Same £10 entry fee.
Anybody interested in doing this?
if everyone is ok with tuesdays dont change it just 4 me but i can only do sat or suns. Gettin home to manc from tues home matches is always hard cos i miss last metrolink every time and it costs me £20 everytime 4 a taxi home from manc when i get there
Im in robbo sounds a good idea! You will need to decide what teams are going to be in it before the draw because I don’t think all the teams will be on the game

It depends on how many people want to take part, but if we had 16 entrants then i would expect to just have the top 16 sides in europe involved.

Yes, as Liverpool are top of the UEFA rankings, it would make sense
They have never been English Champions for years so don’t see why they should be in Europe !:laugh:

We are due to start this tournament on Thursday 31st July at approx 7pm down at Witton.
The tournament will be staged over consecutive Thursdays.
The format of the tournament will depend on how many people wish to enter.
Again it will be £10 entry fee.

Even if you aren’t great on Pro Evo or computers in general, then come down and join in anyway as it’s all good fun and it’s raising money for Witton.
