Full Time Score from The Neuven Stadium:

Radcliffe FC 1 Witton Albion 0.

Witton’s unbeaten run comes to an end and sees them slip one place to seventh in the table.

Well not a win but another cracking non league game, pretty end to end and very competitive on a poor pitch that cut up easily. Both sides missed quite a few chances with Borough missing more and hitting the woodwork three times to our one. Thought the sending of re Smart was a bit harsh. He made a strong tackle for the ball which he won but with the Borough player going down and 5 Borough players attacking Smart, the ref reacted by sending him off, the Borough no 5 getting sent off for violent conduct in the melee. Overall they deserved the win just, but if we had our best 11 out we could have certainly have beaten them. We just lack a finisher as I guess many teams do but as a testament to Radcliffe’s squad Matty Wolfenden was on their bench. It shows they are a pretty good attacking outfit and play good football. We will be back soon UTA

Who won the battle Billy or Prince ?

Prince played the deep midfield role and played ok moving to fullback later, Billy Smart was pretty good also till the sending off which I felt was a bit unlucky, but to be honest Radcliffe had several other players who caught the eye on both wings and at cetre forward who were all skilful hard working and pacy but we matched them well overall but without the cutting edge to our game and we were a bit wasteful at times with our passes but a good watch. never the less UTA
