Mike Y, I would just point out that Manchester United play in Salford, so why wouldn’t FC United of Manchester play in Northwich?

Salford is in Greater Manchester,as is Bury,where FC United currently play.
Northwich,if you didnt know,is in Cheshire (not classed as part of Manchester)

Speaking as someone who is a big United fan, and one who was born and bred on Cross Lane, Salford. I used to walk to Old Trafford every fortnight, and on my way, I passed a sign saying ‘Manchester’ about 100 yards before the Trafford swing bridge, which is about a quarter of a mile from the ground. Let’s have no more dodgy geography lessons.
If FCUM were to move to Northwich, that would make them even bigger sell outs than the franchise they deserted!! How ironic…
