Recognition from CWAC

Do we really think he lads need this distraction 6 days before the season starts?

I’d be surprised if many turned up on a Sunday. Plus with a few new faces in the squad is it not divisive to have some there who were in the team last season and leave other lads out.

Like I say nice sentiment but 3 months too late

Leave it upto Brian and the team/directors if they are happy im happy not fussed either way tbh, do agree its a bit late.

At the moment it’s easier to tell you who is going from the football side!

And that completes the list so far

definately too late, it should have been done within days of witton gaining promotion. that’s what happened with chester, so why not witton. the answer is that it is only a token gesture by an inept council who are clearly backing the dying cheats of mid chehire football. enough said!!!

Honestly, who cares?

The party was had :woohoo:

Can we politely decline? A party with seven people there might not give a great impression of the club locally, through no fault of the club.

I am getting increasingly concerned that CWAC are planning to rescue Vics in some way or other. Vics have only themselves to blame for the plight they are in, and our tax money or our assets should not be used to bail out such a financially corrupt private business such as Vics.
(I have heard strong rumours that CWAC are planning to gift land to Vics, and even go as far as building a stadium for them.

This civic reception could be a good opportunity to sit down with which ever councillors turn up, and find out their intentions, and more importantly, give them an earful.

It won’t surprise me in the slightest if CWAC gift land and/or build a stadium for them, if i was having a bet i would probably put money on it happening. There are so many old dinosaurs, vcs fans, who are either in CWAC or are well connected to them. It has always been the same and is a similar situation to that of the local press in that vcs will always have more coverage because they are influenced by these same people.

Thankfully i’m not a Northwich tax payer these days but if the above was to happen I would be fuming, as would many other honest, decent people not just wittoners. Anyway as long as we continue building OUR fantastic little club upwards lets not get too concerned about the slime, if they do get bailed out they will only find themselves in the same situation as they are in now anyway a few years further down the line. You only get out of life what you put into it, maybe they will learn that one day but i doubt it.

Simmo says this is now postponed at clubs request.

Good

Yes, good decision by the club. Let’s hope it’s cancelled and not just postponed. Should have been within days of promotion or not at all.

UTA!

Time to cancel this. The Council have shown their disregard for us by letting it drag on this long. It’s becoming a farce now.
