RONAN EVES

Ronan Eves is only 16, spotted by Dave McDonough & John Salmon through
the link with Witton Albion Juniors and the Development Squad. He made
an impression, a very intelligent player with great potential, skilled
and very keen to learn. He is training with the First team and impressed
Carl & Gary.

He played for WAFC Youth Team U19s recently. He is unlikely to play for the
first team at the moment, but he is now registered as part of the WAFC
First Team and is part of the squad. Lucky for us he is a local lad
committed to Witton Albion FC, as are his parents. A good local story.

He appeared as a substitute during the Pre Season Friendly against Vanarama National League Tranmere Rovers at The NetDec Stadium.

Brilliant
Really good to hear and it shows other young lads that if they come to Witton if their good enough they could progress to the first team
Hopefully Ronan has a successful career at Witton before we sell him to Real Madrid for millions in a few years time

Great news, would love to see local lads coming through, good luck to Ronan. UTA

Superb stuff we need more local lads involved. Well done to Mr McDonough and co, a guy who is a great asset to our club.Hope its the start of something good for Ronan too!!

I will be happy if he is another Pritch and stays for years but if he is that good I hope he goes to a top club. In the 1920s we sold a lad to PNE and he won a cup winners medal with them. I hope Ronan tops that!!

No pressure Ronan!

Ronan if you are reading this I sincerely hope you end up with all you want out of the game, just give it your best shot and no one can complain.

Ronan has played with Witton Albion Juniors since age 4 - his progress is in part down to the great Witton Juniors set up and all the hard work done by the guys there including Paul Forster, Pete Harman, Tim Pont, etc etc etc (all volunteers). The link now in place between the Witton Juniors and the senior club is GREAT and provides a pathway for local talent. Lets hope we see lots of the future Witton Albion players emerge from the Witton Junior teams.

Could not agree more.
