Could really have done without this game and extra time of course but “may” be a revenue earner later.
I reckon we can expect the usual draconian suspension for Wes from the Cheshire FA? Any idea of the offence? :red
Firstly it was Dom in goal and what a hero throughout he proved to be.
Secondly Wes was sent off for preventing a goal scoring opportunity so it should just be a one match suspension that with the new 7 day rules coming in this season should mean he’ll miss the match on Saturday week at Chasetown.
Finally the club has been appealing for help in various sections of the club, one of which has been for Social Media interface, proof that this role could do with someone stepping forward to help - then please read earlier postings on this thread!

Thanks CHAD. The last info I got was about the delayed kick off and it was only after someone had posted a link to Sandbach’s Twitter account that I was able to follow events. I’d tried through a different Twitter feed for Sandbach but it didn’t appear to update very often.
As far as I’m aware the Social media job has been taken however there wasn’t much interest in last nights game so hardly any Wittoners at the game to report back, as you may know i run the Not Official Witton Albion page on Facebook which updates goals at every First team game however i was under the impression we were putting out a reserve team last night so didn’t bother even mentioning the game.
Can’t believe we fielded a strong team so close to a huge FA trophy tie to be honest
From the Cheshire FA website:
Clubs must be represented by their strongest available team. Youth teams are not acceptable in this
competition. Any Clubs failing to comply with this rule shall be fined not less than £500.00
Key players were either rested or on the bench. I feel the club probably fielded a side strong enough so as not to get fined by the fa. This club cannot afford to throw £500 away simple as.
Sorry for the Brain f**t Dom Garner was of course in goal and had a blinder. UTA
Barnton away in the next round in mid January, I believe.
