Shepshed Dynamo v Witton Albion 5th December

Directions to the Dovecote:

From M1:

Leave the motorway at Junction 23 and take the A512(Ashby).

At the first set of traffic lights turn right into Leicester Road.

Continue along this road until you get to a Texaco garage, just before a mini island.

At this mini island turn right onto Forest Street, and continue along until you see the Black Swan pub on the left.

Turn right immediately after the pub onto Butthole Lane. The ground is situated 50 yards on the left hand side.

Dovecote - Black Swan - Butthole Lane ?

Dodger set it off then !

Put a cork in it Eli.

Butthole Lane? Thought that was Frickley’s Ground!

I can see some wise cracks coming out for this one…

Very good, you can see he sphincter 'bout it.

we’ll have to plug the holes in defence…

If we keep up our current form we’ll be able to run rings round them.

Strangely it is the only Butthole Lane on my satnav. You’d think it would be more popular.

This fixture holds fond memories of years gone-by.At least we will not be playing in yellow and GREEN.

Talking of change colours,i still cannot get use to Witton playing in all yellow. Our change colours should either be white,or sky blue.

As Morrissey once penned such a little thing makes such a big difference.

Is there a supporters coach for this match?

Sorry Jeff, couldnt muster enough support for this one, cant compete with Christmas Do’s, Bar Humbug! I am hoping to run a Bus to Leek on New Years Day,weather permitting , so if your in the country you would be welcome aboard! as regard to “Sheepshead” on Saturday, the Club have kindly allowed the “Faithfull Few” to travel on the Players Coach and Im sure that if you contact Peter he would be able to squeeze you…on, See you Saturday!

Metcheck doesn’t look too bad for Sheepshead.
Not much rain and temperatures above freezing

I will be travelling in my car. If anybody wants a lift, I will be leaving about 11:30am from the Thatched Tavern. Room for 4 small ones, or 3 big ones.

Just spoke to ground staff at Shepshed, and the game is not in doubt at the moment!

An advanced warning for anyone travelling to Shepshed on Saturday.

The directions posted in the Sheffield programme were on the recommendation of my contact with Shepshed as they used that route when they visited us.

Howerer, there are roadworks on the entry slip road Southbound on the M1 at junction 24 and lane closures in place.
