Spot on ME - failing to score in the first half when we were on top rebounded on us in the second half. The penalty was dubious and even their players said it was’nt a penalty.
Shepsheds second was good enough to win any game but after the game our goalkeeping coach was questioning Cleggy’s positioning. Fozzy’s goal was well taken as well but after tuesdays grueller we just ran out of steam. We can’t afford to lose too many games more now if we are going to get out of this damn awful league. Nice people at Shepshed but the ground was pretty poor and we don’t want to be going back next season.
I think overall, Lee Neville has played very well at left back this season. He has forged a very good partnership with James Tandy on the left side of the park.
Havn’t seen much of Lewis yet, only the first half at Matlock, and although he was out of position, he certainly didn’t set the world on fire.
Two very narrow defeats, must be followed by several good wins. My son Andy will be at Fylde on Tuesday if he shakes off the cold he has and I will be at the next home game and also at the Boxing Day game, hopefully with Chris, my youngest son and my grandson, James. (Just 2 1/4 years old, start em young!!)I will have my “penalty” for not turning up for other games to give to you Chad.

Shame we lost at Sheepshed but looking at the table now I would say it’s between The Albs and Glapwell to escape from this wretched league!! I think we’ve got the team to do it COME ON ALBIOOOOON!!
Stu, as I said before I can take stick from people who have to resort to name calling, I will just add you to that list. I only answered Eli because he brought it up. I may be a sad figure to you but I’m afraid your opinion of me does not bother me one bit, I only take notice of people I respect and if you feel a fellow Wittoner deserves that kind of letter being aimed at him then you don’t deserve my, on anybody else’s respect.
