Wow, the lads have showed great bouncebackability tonight. Superb result.
6 pointer ! Great response !
Played very well tonight, a fantastic result.
Goals from Andrews, Newman and Titch.
Well done lads, would have taken a point before kick off but you proved that we should fear nobody
Bring on leek!
The whole team, on and off the field, showed how to shrug of the injustice of their previous game to not only inflict on Skem their first league defeat of the season but also chalk up Albion’s first ever league victory against them at the ninth attempt of asking.
Well done everyone, the body language and the celebrations all around really proved what this great club is all about.
what a result, what a team. this team just goes from strength to strength. what a chance we have of winning the league. a far better team than snakeman vince’s team, pritch’s team plays football, shows commitment and has bottle in abundance. what is more they are a pleasure to watch. it’s proud times to be a wittoner. long may this team play together and realise it’s true potential. come on you reds.
FABULOUS,simples !!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Durham must have one hell of a manager…
Great away victory. Good following from Witton fans. Stunning goal what more can you ask for. The referee seemed to allow Skem to rough Witton up. They seem to be more concerned with petulance these days rather than serious issues! MoM for me Carl Clampitt.
Great result last night, what a come back after saturday. well done lads. Agree with you Robbo, Must have been saturdays result against a team 3 leagues higher that went against Brian B) Durhams record-played 6 won 6, for 17, against 9. Albion played 9 won 8, for 30, against 10. Never mind these awards sometimes work against a team. up the Albion
Get in! Been to Skem many times in the past with little or no reward, so great to turn them over at this important stage of the season. Looking at the league table a couple of weeks ago and it seemed to be done and dusted with the top 2 scrapping it out. Who would want to play us now? We can win this…
Come on the Albion!
Oh yes, message to EvoStick, you can stick your Manager of the Month award up your a**e!
Pritch will just have to get a 100% record during November!
This was a brilliant start.
Not only did we play some excellent football we withstood their physical tactics as well and the ref was no help.
Great travelling support but what a miserable bunch of Skem supporters.
Even the Keep Off The Grass Bank signs didn’t say “Please”.
Soulless Skum.
Fantastic gutsy performance, against a bang in form team.
Nice to play on an excellent pitch away from home!
Ref could have been better (Can’t they always Dodger!) - he seemed very reluctant to card anyone 1st half despite off the ball challenges and some robust Skem tactics - it does work both ways though and Josh could have been booked for a lunge which was amazingly not given by the referee but by the liner 40 yards away!
Re. Skem supporters - I think pot calling the kettle there, the ones I spoke to were okay! I cringe with embarrasment listening to the inane abuse some of our regular supporters dish out!
Anyway fantastic support once again, a great result for our team and a good night for our club!
UTA
Fabulous result, a hard place to go anytime never mind when they are top of the league, showed character that after saturdays sad result. :cheer:

Manager of the year will do!
I know Pritch reads this forum. Knowing the lad like we all do I doubt if he worries about Manager of the month awards just as long as the team is performing and boy are they performing!! I agree that he should have won it but there is plenty of time yet this season.
I think there is no greater accolade than when opposing supporters tell you that you are a good team. I was talking to a Skem steward after the match Tuesday and he said the best team won and we were streets ahead in terms of visiting teams up there this year.He also said that the great majority of our fans were polite and well behaved. I don’t think it can get better than that and I thanked him for his honesty and politeness at a time when he must have been dissapointed to see his team well beaten by what is a remarkable Witton Albion team. Certainly the best I’ve seen since the “Snake” days with the big difference our lads just stick at it and can still raise their game no matter what the physical challenges are. The other big difference and it is probably the BIG reason why we are doing so well at the moment is the management team of 110% committed Wittoners.
Pritch I know you read this forum just keep it going, keep listening to any feedback and keep making your decisions based on all the input. You’ve been a brilliant player for us and it looks like you can be a brilliant manager too!! Long may you continue and thanks from me for providing me with so much enjoyment and entertainment not just now but for the 16 years slog you’ve put in so far.
See you Saturday lets hope the pitch is not the usual swamp though to be honest we’d take some stopping if we were playing in wellies!!
Hear, hear Mona - Could be time to change your pseudonym!

So we didn’t need Liam Watson or Carl McCauley then?
Bit hard Robbo, we may need a couple of good players adding to the squad if we had injuries, imagine if Ben and Titch were out for six weeks!

 Had to put the whistle, couldn’t find the little man indicating when something had gone completly over someones head
