Although not the full story that was submitted, it is nice to see the Guardian publish an article on the event in this weeks paper.
Good job I didn’t send it in, I’m still “Personna Non Grata” as far as the Guardian is concerned for complaining on here that they didn’t give us the same coverage as they gave the Vics. They won’t even print a letter from my wife about the great night out we had at the Mayor’s “Proms in the Park” last week. Needless to say we no longer purchase the paper, we just read it second hand a few days after it has come out!!

Well done to everyone who took part in this and considering the weather, I honestly don’t know how you managed it. I found it unbearable just sitting and watching the game so what it must have been like walking in that heat I can’t imagine. Well done everyone!
