Tuesday evening sees Witton travel into the hills as they take on Stalybridge Celtic in the Emirates FA Challenge Cup Second Qualifying Round Replay. Bradley Bauress late goal at The NetDec Stadium on Saturday, gave the Albion a second chance following a spirited second half performance and the chance to progress further in the competition. Following problems with the floodlights at Stalybridge’s Bower Fold home, the game is being staged at Seel Park - the home of Mossley AFC where the game will be decided on the night, with Extra Time and Penalties if needed. Vanarama National League North side FC Halifax Town await the winners in the Third Qualifying Round. Kick off at Seel Park is 7.45pm.

There was a problem during last week with the lights, Stalybridge were due to play Harrogate Town at home on Tuesday but agreed to switch the fixture to Harrogate. Then on Thursday night, our Development Squad were meant to play at Stalybridge and that game was postponed for the same reason.
We can win this and go on to play Halifax. We are more than good enough, but we need to press them more than we did on Saturday and not give them chance to play. Come on boys do it. UTA
Albion forever agreed. If we play tonight like we know we can we should have it in the bag. Far too much respect was given to them on Saturday. I hope Carl isn’t planning on putting Hopley upfront on his own again, at least it looked like he was on his own on Saturday.
Really looking forward to tonights game, I hope the lads can do us proud and I hope we take a few travelling fans. Perhaps someone could look at how we get fans back to the ground and put something in place eg bring a friend for free on a certain match. Would love to see more fans there
