Francis Humphries scored a 79th minute consolation for the Linnets.
Assuming that Steve Foster, Stuart Rudd and Mike Moseley are all match fit and available when the season starts, that looks like decent firepower up front for WAFC at Unibond 1 S level.

I agree that Foster has a lot of work to do to win round the fans given his history against us.
Scoring hat tricks is the right way to go about it though.

With reference to Mike’s comment, isnt it a fact that the players we hate most are the class players that we fear. he did more than enough in the first half to show he would be more than an asset to us this season.
Replying to Eli’s " Can we afford him". If the stumbling block is cash, Knowing the will power of the fans, couldnt the fans “Sponsor” him, i dont know how much the shortfall would be during negotiations, but if 50 fans pledged £1 per week, thats £50 a week to help secure Mr Foster for the season. Just an idea, best sort something out before we lose him.
