Got to say I’m dissapointed but the reality is Halifax are probably paying half is wages which would be the equivalent of nearly all our weekly budget!!
Its a shame because Titch is a genuine lad who would thrive on the support from a Wicham Park crowd who would increase his confidence and set him up for an assault on a first team place with Fleetwood.
Unfortunately its money again but I don’t blame Titch as if you have the chance to make that sort of money you have to go for it!! You’ll always be welcome back at Witton Titch if you read thisr
Scored tonight for Halifax :clap

A long ball up-field from Matt Glennon was flicked on by Seddon, onto which latched Titchiner, who made no mistake in placing past Zac Jones in the Vauxhall goal after ten minutes.
The young striker’s eagerness in closing down the opposition seemed to spread through the side like the virus that had crippled Neil Aspin’s side, as the Shaymen looked to write-off Motors within the first 20 minutes.[/quote]

Hat-trick day all round yesterday then as Titch gets 3 for Halifax! And don’t say Titch who
Just wondering why people are so obsessed with keeping an eye on titch? yeah he was a good player for us and we wouldn’t have been promoted without him but he’s gone now and he’s not coming back so why not just leave it at that?
IF we went up Titch could be back…Na Na NA NA NA NA Na Na, Titchener, Titchener, Alex Titchener…Our first promotion for many a year after going down so may times and NEARLY going up under Vince…Titch was part of that and with all the others who did it too for us culminating at Curzon it’s nice to keep an eye on how he’s doing.
Dear WM77 - Does the fact that’s it’s a Forum, the Section is called “Other Football News” and the title of the original post is “Titch watch up in Codland” not give you any clues???
Sometimes I despair…I really do!
:S
Titch who? mooney
Strange comment WM.
He’s a really nice young chap who quickly earned a place in Witton folklore so it’s only natural that we should follow his fortunes elsewhere.
I don’t know…
As much as i loved Titch when he was here, the fact is that he isn’t our player anymore.
All this support for Titch, but then criticism when we sign Tuck or Foster.
Seems a bit backward to me.
I understand people keeping an eye out on his progress, but to post every time he plays a game?
Personally i thought Witton Albion was a bit bigger than that.

Like Dodger says, he was a lovely lad who not only scored a bagful of goals, but endeared himself to the fans with his attitude and love of the club. I enjoy hearing how he’s doing and hopefully he can keep doing well for Halifax and work his way into the Fleetwood first team eventually.
cheers robbo nice to see someone with the same opinion. I spoke to titch on a number of occassions, he’s a cracking lad and i really do wish him all the best but…
Here’s a suggestion.
If you don’t want to read about Titch IGNORE THIS THREAD. Simple.
That’s what a hat-trick and MOTM does for ya:
Alex Titichiner recalled from his loan spell at Halifax where he scored a hat-trick last weekend. Striker eligible for trip to Dagenham & R
No thats what happens when your loan period is up
Mellon sacked and replaced with Graham Alexander
Great to see Titch making waves up in Codland! MOTM performance in yesterday’s away win at league leaders Port Vale. Onwards and upwards Titch!
Titch made it into The Sun’s League 2 Team of the Day.
Wonder how many tickets he will buy for the bavarian night?
Just spent a very enjoyable 2 hours with Titch in the Windmill.
Generally positive about his chances at Fleetwood, and has only the highest regard for everyone at Witton Albion.
You should be able to hear our chat on the next Podcast…unless i have messed up the recording…
