today the best day ever

Let’s spare a thought today for all those dear departed Wittoners. I bet they had a cracking party up there last night!

It’s starting to sink in now.

Easily my favourite Albion day yesterday. They were all brilliant and deserve their reward. Unbelievable support too, must have been 450/500 Wittoners there yesterday. This is for all of those who have stuck by the club thriugh the dark days.

Witton are back, Witton are back, hello hello!!

Spot on Eddie. It’s something me and Andy Chad have spoken about a few times in the last week or so.

What an absolute joy to be a part of this wonderful club - it’s a great reward for all Wittoners, past and present.

Can’t put into words, what a feeling. Never thought it would happen but we’ve only gone and done it haven’t we!
Pritch & Mose at 1st attempt! This great club back on the up!
Well done to everyone involved

Bought the NON-League Paper for the first time in ages. Great report and 3 cracking photos

ps Anyone leave their scarf in Penny Black last night?
Let me know and I’ll saveguard it for you.

Top day out. Best since Wembley? Possibly it was. Well done to everyone at the club. Result was never in doubt which isnt something usually said about Witton. Its a long time since I was on a pitch at the end of a match. I see young Chadders hasnt lost his knack for clinbing fences.

In short; a great day with great people.

I managed to hug pretty much everyone on the pitch - i’m glad i got to share yesterday with you all!!

I love being a Wittoner!!

UTA.

Chad, im pretty sure i’ve lost my scarf. Havent a clue where so it might be mine!

Edit: my scarf has turned up

Im just glad I decided to come back after a long time of not going. Wish I hadn’t stopped going now, it must mean even more to those who went through the last two play off defeats!

Great club, great team, great people all the way through, fully deserved B)

It truly was a great day, life is full of days but not many as good as that one, was right up there with wembley but coz we won maybe better ? who cares a jot just loved it ( bespecially after going 2-0 up

Absolutely brilliant day out and a much deserved win. Still recovering from the hangover but was well worth it, another great day in our clubs proud history :cheer:

Astonishing day, easier game than expected and better support than expected and 2 pitch invasions in 2 minutes!

Easily my best memory/day in 16 years of watching Witton and credit to the players and management for seeing it through where others have failed. Its been a very hard slog but we are back where we should at least be playing.

I dont like to dwell too much on events elsewhere but it does give the promotion even more meaning and an opportunity for the club previous generations havent had and we must grasp that.

Anyone else still just sitting there smiling away or walking round the house singing to themselves? Football eh - bloody hell!

ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT!

I’ve been singing ‘Mid-Cheshire is ours’ for about 5 days now!

I’m so proud of everybody at the club, from the men at the top to those on the terraces. We all play our part and we all have our reward. We’ve had our fair shair of ups and downs over the last five years (mostly downs) but now is our time to celebrate.

In a way I’m now glad we didn’t go up under Jim V*nce, if this is how it was supposed to happen then I’ll take that. Seeing Pritch and Mose hold aloft that trophy with beaming grims even gave me a tear in the eye.

Long live the Albion!

What a fantastic day to be a Wittoner.

Never has a CLUB (From top to bottom) been more deserving of a promotion than ours on Saturday.

The spirit of the club is second to none - the amount of people that give their time and money freely and without question is second to none.

Massive thanks to Brian and Mike for assembling a SQUAD of players and coaches who work their socks off, play fantastic football and always conduct themselves in the right manner.

Massive thanks to Mark and the board who have seen some tough times and without mentioning names, the only reason we have been able to assemble and keep the squad is because certain people (they know who they are) believed and invested in the management team.

Thanks you to you the supporters, without whom there isn’t a Witton Albion - and on that note we’ve unfortunately had to say goodbye to some of the most amazing supporters this club has seen over the last year. Lets hope they’re all smiling up there!RIP.

Thank you to all the people who have supported the Development Funds activities over the last 5 years, and to the people like Jim Powell, Neil Wilson and Lenny who make it possible for you to part with your hard earned! - you haven’t always had the success that your support and efforts deserve - but the payback on Saturday was so worth it.

The vocal backing on Saturday demonstrates the potential and passion that are always under the surface at Witton. So to one and all:-

YOU ALL DESERVE IT!!!

UTA

It’s still sinking in with me, I still can’t believe we seemed to breeze through the playoff games the way we did, it was as though it just had to be. We just played so well I can hardly remember a shot on target by either Farsley or Curzon. The whole thing about achieving what we have the way we have is a credit to all involved in the club!!!

I’m the same I’m absolutely speechless for once. My flabber was really gasted on Saturday with a masterful display by the best team we’ve had since the early 1990s. This team easily elipses the pretty football of the Vince era simply because they have the bottle to win things and can play a lot as well.
We have to remember this is the management teams first season. If this is the shape of things to come then I’d love some more please!! The great thing is it can only get better too provided everyone sticks together and why not because our little club is brilliant.
Pritch lad I’ve always thought you were brilliant but this latest achievement just takes you beyond legend status and into a new Witton Albion superhuman bracket. I’m just sorry that you were’nt playing because I know you miss it but hey ho it must be great to know you will become our greatest ever manager if this season is anything to go by!!As for Mose and Deels you guys back Brian and you deserve the accolades too what a management team.
Brilliant just Brilliant this has to be in my top 5 days in 55 years of supporting the club can’t wait for next season to start!!

Onward and Upward!!

My best memory will forever be this game easy! (I was at Wembley but I was to young really to remember the game) and along with this game Neil Wilson will forever be etched into it, as when Stott scored the second goal I turned to celebrate and Neil picked me up and I was 15ft tall screaming like a madman and I could see from a birdseye view a sea of red and white going mental and to be honest I still feel 15ft tall to be a Witton Albion fan B) Cheers Neil your a legend mate!

Still buzzin!!!
What a team!! Let’s not forget that curzon were unbeaten at home in over 12 months!! We do what we want!!

Zigga Zagga!!!
