Just got back having spent several hours on trains with other witton loyal. Nothing to add to the above other than this is possibly the worst witton side I have seen since I started watching in the early-mid 80’s. Not faulting the effort but the lack of quality and leadership is very worrying.
To CJ and WHS that said when Pritch left we had a really strong squad. Are you really sure about that? And if they are that good why are we getting drubbed 4 and 5 nil every week?
If that’s the attitude of the players moaning about going to an away game then god help us. Most of us on this forum would walk to Kings Lynn for nothing if it meant playing for Witton Albion. If certain players have been complaining then maybe its time they did leave and get players in who actually want to play for the club.
My take on this and also goes back to last season is the lack of a leader on the pitch, someone whose willing to take control , all the successful teams have had one over the years. It certainly is very noticeable in games.
To concede 11 goals alone in the first half of games over the last three Saturdays is frankly not good enough or acceptable.
I’m not usually one for sacking managers but I think it’s time…And if we don’t, and we win our next ten games then someone can quote this post back at me and I’ll eat my humble pie but who amongst us thinks that is likely…?
My very best wishes to the inevitably dwindling number of supporters who are turning up.
Utter rubbish. Every single player needs to take a long hard look at themself and ask if they are giving their best for this club, because from the last three Saturdays I don’t think many of them could say that they are.
I don’t care if we get beat 5-0 every week if the players are trying, but they’re not, and I don’t care if this offends anyone, because its true. If any player disagrees feel free to stand behind the goal on Tuesday after we’ve paid our £10 and tell us how much you are trying for this club.
No doubt everyone will be arguing and whining about how you shouldn’t slate the players on the forum blah blah blah. The players have been FKING SHIT. End of story. Show some fking balls, and if it means coming and giving me a piece of your mind on Tuesday so be it. It’d be nice to see some balls for a change. God knows it’d be nice to see that attitude on the pitch instead of shitting out of tackles and headers which sadly we saw today.
Absolute dogshit, and they should be ashamed. Do something about it on Tuesday ffs.

If these players carry on like this they will soon be costing Sheenz his job, and whilst he has his own share of responsibility to take as manager, he certainly wont be telling these players to go out and embarrass the shirt every Saturday.
What makes it worse is that some of these players were his team-mates not so long ago, and they are letting him down badly.
Not to mention letting us, the club, and themselves down every single week at the moment.
I seem to remember Sheens saying he was taking a back seat re playing to concentrate on mgt ! Maybe wants to reconsider that ? And we did have a potentially good squad but lost Barnes to injury never replaced and got rid of Howard and Sanna whilst they were not great Sanna could at least look solid the new teenage keeper looks out of his depth and playing Gards at centre half is not good the major weakness of the original squad to me was left back and he is still playing ! If we cannot get a fit decent centre back partner for Ben who seems to be suffering also then it might be worth trying Powell at centre half with Ben and Moyo at left back and Gards at right back and then midfield with Josh loan ended it would have to be Blake and Davidson with Dawson and Andrews wide and up top on current form Bakkor and Harvey. Then ask the defence to be more compact not too eager to push on and let’s stop Leaking goals maybe we have to play a bit ugly to get some results ! Now that seems to be trying to sticky plaster the issues in the team in reality we need a good reliable centre half, a centre mid, a left back and a goalkeeper and on the last point it should be Swift in goal currently in preseason he looked great and I argued at the time he was worth a go over Sanna ! I don’t just yet want to see Sheens sacked and hope he can make changes to get us back on track but maybe 3 more horrible results may be too much to suffer so there is now real pressure on. UTA
No comment required, absolutely horrendous
A great day out… ruined by the football. It says a lot when the opposition’s fans can’t believe they’ve won a game, let alone FIVE NIL!
Not to mention their keeper who was telling us they’d lose at one nil, two nil and three nil. By four nil he seemed to think they’d at least get a point!
I am so glad I opted to buy FIFA 15 for my PS4 rather than spend it on diesel to go to the game
If what you say is true regarding players not being bothered to turn up on time and can’t be arsed to travel to games, for me it seems the dressing room is lost in parts, if that is the case then we have big problems
Feel for Sheehan as he is being let down all over the pitch, and with all the rumours about at the minute, I can’t see an answer? (Other than smug arrogant ones on twitter)
I hope the rumours of players being not bothered is just from an overheard comment and not necessarily true feeling because if we have players with truly bad attitude it has to be stamped out before we can move forward as a club and as a team- there is only Sheenz who can sort this out though, he needs to know his players and believe they are on board with him.
Just read matt cats post Sheehan has resigned- we need to get an experienced manager in now who can call on players and get the ones we have sorted. Sad day for the Albion in many ways.
Yep, sad.I hope he stays as a player and is part of a team that can put this season back together - there is still plenty of football left to play and we are only 3 points off 4th place! Right decision but sad.
