Neil and a group of us have put the following marketing initiative together (as you may already be aware of).

We have printed 5,000 Full Colour Leaflets for distribution to homes, offices, shops, pubs and workplaces across the town. The campaign promotes the next 5 league home games at Wincham Park and is aimed at encouraging ‘floating’ or ‘lapsed’ supporters to come and watch us play! These will be available from this Thursday/Friday. Nothing too inventive in the concept but it is hoped that we will put the message in front of people in a smart and direct manner. (See attached scaled down version)

For this to work we need you to act as the distributors!!!

Can you post on this thread if you can help is getting these leaflets out into the area either dropping them through letter boxes or taking some into work for the notice board or canteen!

Example posts;

Robbo Quantity:50 Area:Barclays Staff Canteen
Rabbit Quantity:300 Area:Houses on and off Victoria Rd and on Witton Park
etc

What we need to try and do is cover areas within a 2 to 3 mile radius of the ground.

We don’t expect to push crowds up to 600 as a result however if we could average just an extra 20 people on each gate then it brings nearly £1,000 into the club that it would not have otherwise had!

We need to try a range of marketing exercises to help grow the fan base not only to continue our push this season but also for the future.

All volunteers appreciated!

The leaflets look great, I am happy to hit the Hartford area and The Social Club will put a few up too I will ask around the shops as well

that is one hell of an awesome leaflet! well done to the lads who have produced it! i would love to help distribute it but i fear dundee city centre might be just a tad out of the way! Come on Witton!

Keep your support coming, the least we can do is ‘spread the word’ as to what people are missing by not attending Wincham Park. It is unfair of us to keep this quality entertainment all to ourselves!!!

I’ll also see what the College says about me puttin a few up.
Tho with the college tie with V*cs (the academy and Macca) I can’t promise anything. Although if the scum do go under, perhaps this is an area the Albion can exploit?

Goes without saying that i will take some off your hands.

Might be worth putting some on tables on Thurs night. I know most people there will be Wittoners, but there may be a few that aren’t - so let’s plant the seed!
