We really want to grow a big Facebook group for the club, the reason for this is that embraces the social activity of the club and the fun shared by many Wittoners. Plus from an information perspective, it allows us to send messages and invites to events to the whole of our group really easily.
Next time you are on Facebook please invite as many Wittoners (and even better lapsed Wittoners and other folks from the area), to join our Facebook account;
Once you are a ‘friend’ of the group we want you to add your photo’s to our page. This is easy (as the Doc will testify)! Simply go to the Witton related picture in your facebook album and open it and ‘Tag’ Witton Albion in the picture (just click on the picture anywhere to apply the tag). You can also tag individuals in the pictures if you want to. As soon as you tag a picture it will appear in the Photos on the Witton Albion page.
In the future we are looking at things like ‘Facebook Days’ at the club and other ways of social networking, all with the intention of increasing the fan base and the general enjoyment of supporting the club.
