I have just heard from Peter Riley, down at the ground that tonights game (8th January 2009) against Marine has once again been called off, due to a frozen pitch.
The Unibond League have already re-arranged the tie for Tuesday 27th January 2009 7:45pm kick-off.
Great,now the team can concentrate on Saturday’s game.
Pleased to hear that this is the case, as per my previous thoughts regarding having to play this game tonight.
The flip side to this is of course we have not had any home games and therefore revenue with which to make payments over the last couple of weeks, therefore let us get as many as possible into the ground on Saturday afternoon. Everyone needs to buy a pie, programme, predictions sheet and anything else on offer!
Given that the cold weather is still around can someone remind Sprucie to switch the under soil heating on for Friday night!
