Witton Reserves take on WINNINGTON AVENUE94 this afternoon in the MID CHESHIRE DISTRICT CHALLENGE CUP GROUP STAGE.
This will be a game close to my heart as this is the Reserve side of the club I managed 2 seasons ago and won the CREWE & DISTRICT LEAGUE TITLE with.
KO is 2pm and we would welcome some support from fans not traveling with the 1st team today
Went to watch this one, a good 5-2 win for the Albion, scored 3 very good goals in the process, well done bones and the lads.
The 2nd goal was a great team counter attack !!!
Was very proud and shows what we can do when we are on our game
Hi bones was talking to my mate about which of the 3 best of the 5 goals was best and although the two great shots were excellent I said I bet the second one would be the managers favourite, great movement and passing cutting the opposition open from defence to the goal, it was my favourite also great team goal inspired by the central mid no 6 don’t know his name but he played pretty well.
That would be JAMIE WEEDER who has been struggling in recent weeks with other players coming in that can play in his position. He has done well to rise to the challenge but the test now is to see if he can put in the same type of performance against better opposition
