Ah well back to the league. Six games without a win now and slipping down the league !
We need to get back on track and raisin our game but on currant form it won’t be a piece of cake beating Chorley !

As I said elsewhere, if we don’t beat Chorley I think several players may be shown the door, they may be giving 100% effort but they may not be of the quality we need if we are to make the play offs, and I am not just talking about full backs!!

Having missed I few games I hope to see us get back to winning ways on Saturday.
We should have the right ingredients to make our own slice of luck.
Just hope Ben Harrison and Peter Heler are fit, as both got injured in the replay against Harrogate on Wednesday. Peter got injured with about 15 mins to go, caused by a 50/50 tackle which he won.
Ben had a very bad head injury near the end. He suffered a bad cut and concussion. His family took him to Hospital after the match
why oh why keep playing heler, he is so ineffective, his instinct when he has got the ball is to go backwards and his passing is abysmal, he should remember that we actually play in red and white. anton bryan is by far a better option.
How’s the pitch?
Any real danger of being frozen off?
If the game is played i think a firm pitch could prevent both sides from playing good football, which could work in Chorleys favour.
I think the squad is in great shape and the new lad from Chester looked very impressive.Football is strange.poor old Peter going in for a bone crunching tackle, getting injured doing the ugly stuff flair players get slagged off for not doing. He cannot win.

It’s an absolute disgrace to slate one of our players in that way, especially one who cares and gives his all!
Following pitch inspection, MATCH POSTPONED
Pleased in a way, the amount of injuries and other abstractions we would have seen a very thread bare team today. With the Prescot game being off (due to them being in the Lancashire SC weather permitting)gives the players a week off before Mossley away. However we will be without Macca and Kearns through suspension.
Also pleased game off - watched Utd thrash Blackburn and great display by FC Utd at Brighton - just what u need to warm u up on a winters day !
pleased Now there’s a word I never thought I’d see on an Eligorton post
Oh so pleased that u r pleased that I am pleased T of F !
I never slag off a trier MM but I do think several of our playing staff are not quite up to the standard we need if we are to make the play offs, perhaps they can improve; I certainly hope so but at the moment we are lacking at full back and in midfield where we create very little for our strikers. Just an opinion.

After today’s premiership results i am even more pleased !
Spurs are on your tail Eli and that is without several star players, watch us go when they come back.
