Full Time Score from The U Lock It Stadium:

Witton Albion 1 Clitheroe 2.

Witton are at home again on Tuesday night when they welcome Trafford in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture - kick off 7.45pm.

Same old! Nice football no end product, defensive errors, missed penalty wasn’t a great day.

Thought Clitheroe were stronger and fitter but not better than us but they deserved the win.

I thought hen Wealth scored it felt like we could win, then he was immediately subbed which ruined us and apart from the pen we stopped playing.

We keep shuffling the pack to little effect but it’s clear we need to tighten our defence, get a striker that can score and for me, I’d pick King over McGee just based on fitness levels alone.

Can we do anything by Tuesday?

Listening to Clitheroe manager Jimmy Bell after the game and he was very complimentary about Witton and singled out special praise for midfielder Owen German.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Pitch Fund collection at the game which raised the sum of £205.

Thank you as always to Tracey Collins for her amazing efforts.
