Talking of strikers, don’t forget Mr. Frost and how far off being match fit is Mr. Moseley?

Robbo - as one of the Witton supporters of many many many many many many years ( that’s a “many” for every decade )may I suggest that you look up “dire” in the dictionary and then deny that we were lucky not to be at least 3 goals down by half-time ?
If Cooper could not reach the halfway line with his goal kicks then he should have taken short ones and built the attacks from the back.
To their credit the coaching staff ( which now includes the the much welcomed back Nigel Deeley ) managed to put things right ! I admit that playing against 10 men is not that easy as Spurs found out yesterday !
If you read the report on the official website it is not a millions miles away from mine just more succinctly put !
I am aware of the tremendous work that the volunteers put in to keep this club afloat but this is a fans forum where one is free to express their views as such. It is not a propaganda tool for the club and nor should it be !
I look forward to your eloquent reply ?
Eli, if a dire performance means a hard-fought point against one of the better teams in the league, then i’m content to see us be dire a little more regularly.
We were disjointed in the first half. Second best. But to go in only 1 goal down means that if we were dire then Curzon couldn’t have been much better.
It’s all about perspective.
United have been ‘dire’ by their standards all season, but they are top of the league.
It’s good to finally hear some degree of positivity in your most recent post though. It’s a refreshing change.
Don’t hold your breath !
It really was a cracking game of football against a good team in Curzon. They bossed the first half and could have been four up at the break, we were toothless with the formation we played!
But a great deal of credit for our second half performance, a really well worked goal (somebody said something to thier no8 which caused the fracas after the goal) very unlucky with the thunderous strike which clattered the bar and difficult to do what we wanted to with them down to ten men. But a fair result they are a good team who could well go up and we are rebuilding…again! COME ON THE ALBION!
I don’t see us as “re-buildong”, most of the team have played all season. “Tinkering” is a better description. We know have several games against teams below us, it is our chance to get back into the top five and stay there. “Onwards and Upwards.”
